Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the preemptive analgesia effect of ketorolac tromethamine in transvaginal four-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (TVS 4D-HyCoSy).

Methods

From May 2018 to March 2019, 102 patients were scheduled to undergo TVS 4D-HyCoSy due to infertility at the Third People's Hospital of Yunnan Province. According to the different analgesics used before the test, they were divided into either an observation group (ketorolac tromethamine group; n=51) or a control group (atropine group; n=51). The analgesic effect and adverse reaction rate of the two groups were compared.

Results

The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.08% (49/51), and that of the control group was 82.35% (42/51). The analgesic effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (Z=-2.707, P<0.05). The rate of adverse reactions of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (3.92% vs 23.53%, χ2=8.279, P<0.05).

Conclusion

The analgesic effect of ketorolac tromethamine in TVS 4D-HyCoSy is better than that of atropine.
