Abstract:
Objective To explore the application value of informatization in the accurate management of ultrasound "critical value" report.
Methods From January 2018 to December 2019, the Department of Ultrasound of the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University applied informatization to accurately manage the ultrasound "critical value" report. The χ2 test was used to compare the successful report rate, missed report rate, follow-up rate, and report compliance rate of the ultrasound "critical value" over the past 2 years to evaluate the effect of informatization implementation.
Results In 2018 and 2019, the successful report rates were 90.5% (484/535) and 98.6% (477/484), the missed report rates were 9.5% (51/535) and 1.4% (7/484), the follow-up rates were 89.2% (477/535) and 97.1% (469/484), and the report compliance rates were 96.1% (458/477) and 98.3% (461/469), respectively. Comparative analysis showed that there were significantly differences in the successful report rate, missed report rate, follow-up rate, and report compliance rate between before and after the implementation of informatization (χ2=30.955, 30.955, 24.449, and 4.746, respectively; P<0.05).
Conclusion Informatization can realize the precise management of ultrasound "critical value" report.
