Abstract:

Standardized resident training is a necessary stage for medical students, and it enables university students to transition from basic education to continuing education after graduation, which plays a connecting role in medical education. Due to ultrasound medicine's specialty, rapid technical development, and wide clinical coverage, it is difficult to perform standardized ultrasound training. Therefore, standardized guidelines are urgently needed to guide residential training teaching activities so that residents can master the independent capability in the daily work of ultrasound medicine. Based on the above reasons, the Chinese Medical Association released the guidelines for standardized training and teaching activities for residents (2021 version). In December 2021, the publication of the guidelines provides an important basis to standardize the teaching activities of ultrasonic residential training. The purpose of this paper is to explore the application effects of the guidelines for standardized training and teaching activities for residents with regard to residential training lectures, skill operation training, difficult case discussion, and teaching film reading in ultrasound teaching based on the guidelines through questionnaire, and to summarize the experience.
